I just thought it was humorous, and didn't think anything of it. But then one of my awesome friends I met in Germany last summer messaged me and educated me about the matter.
Evidently, some fast food restaurants in Europe have been secretly putting horse meat into what they claim to be beef burgers. Woah. Am I the only one who has completely missed this juicy little bit of international news?
Reminds me of the rumors that nutria meat is being passed off as chicken in the mall food court.
