On Happy Chickens, Hippies, and [minuscule] Homes.

via

Over Thanksgiving break, I watched this program on public television with my cousins. The show profiled a couple living in a 572-square foot home made completely of salvaged materials. Their living space boasted chicken, tiny rooms and creative storage.

The virtual tour of the home compelled me to text my fiance and proclaim, "Let's all be hippies and live in tiny houses!!"

Free from a mortgage.

An abundance of homegrown eggs (laid from happy chickens).

Small spaces where we actual have relationship with the people living with us, rather than spread about in a house so big we all avoid one another.

Dreaming.
